A company is looking for a Senior Fisheries Biologist to support NMFS West Coast Region in evaluating Hatchery and Genetic Management Plans (HGMPs).Key ResponsibilitiesConduct ESA effects analyses for harvest and hatchery management frameworksPrepare NEPA documents (EAs/EISs) and evaluate alternative fishery management strategiesCoordinate with NMFS staff and support implementation of fisheries agreementsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experienceKnowledge of laws related to fishing industry management, including the Magnuson-Stevens Act and the Endangered Species ActExperience in preparing NEPA analytical documents such as EAs and EISsTechnical writing experience in completing analyses and reports on Pacific Northwest anadromous salmonExperience performing ESA Section 7, 10, or 4(d) consultations
