As our Underground Mobile Maintenance Planner, you are responsible for preparing, compiling, and maintaining records, documents, reports, and statistics pertaining to mobile mining equipment in an underground hard rock mining operation to keep our production going and our profitability up. Every day you will work at a mine on a remote island about 18 miles outside of Juneau, Alaska. You'll start every day organizing, scheduling, and prioritizing work activities to promote a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment. You will be called upon to manage all routine data and withdrawal associated with the maintenance group in a computerized maintenance management system. - Training first. Every hire is provided MSHA training in the first 4 days on the job. We also provide department-level training on not just what to do, but how to do it safely, as well.
- You have extensive knowledge in mechanical maintenance, and maintenance planning skills. You will utilize these skills to procure warehouse stock, manage assets, and assist with supply chain issues at site.
- You will implement process-based maintenance programs, coordinating with operations, engineering, and outside services to refine the overall maintenance program.
- You will generate work orders, maintain in-service details on equipment, and record modifications to equipment.
- You will track as well as schedule preventative maintenance to maintain all safety and environmental-oriented certifications.
- Safety is important. Every piece of equipment and each work area must be inspected before work starts. You will promote and personally observe safety procedures.

POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the Greens Creek Maintenance Planning team this position prepares, compiles, and maintains records, documents, reports, and statistics pertaining to mobile equipment for the Centralized Maintenance Group by performing the following essential functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
As a member of the Centralized Maintenance Team duties will include but are not limited to:

- Responsible for all routine data entry and withdrawal associated with maintenance, most of which is associated with the Computerized Maintenance Management Information System.
- Maintain equipment statistics data entry of meter hours, job cards, requisitions
- Ensure high quality data is collected and integrity of the data is kept
- Work closely with team members to identify and solve problems
- Oil sample collection
- Prepare maintenance reports and assist with preventive maintenance optimization
- General administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, recording meeting minute, etc.
- Planning and scheduling of jobs for mobile equipment
- Utilize the CMMS system to create and maintain equipment and equipment related history
- Preferred - Knowledge of computerized maintenance management information systems - Experience in Ellipse or similar computerized maintenance management system.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Procurement
- Maintain warehouse stock in conjunction with warehouse personnel and handle maintenance procurement as needed
- Cost control and reporting,
- Maintain and assist creation of vendor contracts
- Procure and schedule vendor support
- Maintain critical spares, consignments, and parts listings and descriptions.
Asset Management
- APL / warehouse stock; identify equipment without APL; identify equipment that has incomplete APL's.
- Record APL of equipment without; record updates to equipment without APL; update warehouse stock to match APL research; create Microsoft spread sheet parts list; identify slow moving stock; and identify stock that needs to be made obsolete because of no longer having equipment; identify parts and equipment with abnormal spare parts and correct; review in stock quantities are over stocked, understocked or sufficient.
Assist Supply Chain
- Safety Health & Environmental Analysis (Shea) document developments; initial sourcing and procurement; minimize stock warehouse satellite accumulation areas; identify repair and return items and tag and initiate repair with the warehouse; and organize all arriving Direct Issue procurement parts and record location.
Enterprise Resource Planning system
- Generate work orders; maintain Birth certificates on all equipment and record modifications to equipment.
Refine overall maintenance program :
- Implement process-based maintenance programs.
- Monitor and review standards and performance guidelines, including predictive/conditions monitoring programs and applications.
- Incorporate multi-discipline programs to enhance overall maintenance program.
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, and outside services for maintenance and system upgrades.
Preventive maintenance performance :
- Maintain and track all lube and PM scheduling using Ellipse and data base.
- Maintain all safety/environmental oriented pm certifications and schedules.
- Advise on maintenance and operations procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrated commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
- Completion of a maintenance trade school program preferred.
- Prefer a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in planning and scheduling for mobile equipment.
- Prior experience required in the use of a CMMS
- Must be able to demonstrate the values of integrity, respect, and collaboration

Work Environment & Job Schedule Employees may be frequently exposed to underground work environment; outside weather conditions, wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold, extreme heat, potentially hazardous wildlife; moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; explosives and vibration. The noise level in most work environments is usually very loud. This position is based in Juneau, AK and would work a 4 days on 3 days off schedule.
