Part-Time CSR (Remote)

Quick Details

• Location: Remote (must be local to NE Ohio to pick up equipment)
• Pay: $16.00 per hour
• Length: Part-time, 16-18 hours per week, temp-to-hire
• Hours:
  • Weekdays: 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  • Weekends: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  • Typical schedule: 3 weekdays + 1 weekend day
  • 5-hour shifts include a 15-minute paid break
  • Holiday availability required
  • Flexible scheduling available as long as coverage needs are met

About the Role
This position supports the community by helping callers identify resources related to health and human services. You will use phone, email, text, and chat to assess needs, provide referrals, and guide individuals through available support options.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to multi-channel inquiries (phone, email, text, chat)
• Assess needs and create action plans for callers
• Provide accurate resource information without bias
• Maintain confidential and accurate documentation
• Use de?escalation and customer service techniques
• Escalate critical cases to leads/managers
• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
• Support team members during high call volume

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of administrative or related experience
• Experience in health and human services preferred
• Strong communication, empathy, and computer skills
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
