At Motorola Solutions, we are ushering in a new era in public safety and security./ph3Job Description/h3pAs a VSA Sales Engineer - Focused Account Sales Team (FAST) you are responsible for bringing elite technical expertise and experience as a subject matter expert in solving some of the most complex challenges our existing and targeted Enterprise Accounts. Your contributions and key position ensure that the solutions you provide are solving for safer on a daily basis./ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliEngage in opportunities with the Vertical Account Managers and provide technical solutions expertise to both internal and external stakeholders./liliAbility to captivate a meeting by delivering world-class product demonstrations and compelling sales or technical presentations to both C-Level and front line decision makers./liliProvide design consultation including quoting, system design, best practice system architectures, bill of materials development, compliance vetting, migration planning, implementation guidance, proof of concept management, etc./liliDevelop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners through technical thought leadership./liliParticipate in key consultative vertical focused roadshows and events as a technical subject matter expert building strong relationships with existing named accounts and potential new customers./liliBuild a strong collaborative network across multiple MSI sales and technical teams to assist in delivering complex MSI ecosystem solutions./liliCollaborate with Technical Support leadership in post-sales guidance when business appropriate./liliAct as a conduit for feedback from partners, end-customers, and internal stakeholders to product management, marketing, development, and other appropriate groups./liliProactively seek out both internal and external training opportunities to stay current on MSI products and services as well key complementary technologies, industry trends, and relevant certifications./liliWork closely with your aligned Vertical Account Managers and other specialist experts to provide positive solutions based outcomes leveraging edge-based neural networks and leading public safety and physical security technologies./li/ulpstrongQualifications:/strong/pulliSelf-motivated individual with a positive attitude that demonstrates passion and enthusiasm for technology with an aptitude for customer satisfaction./liliExcellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences./liliPossesses strong problem solving / troubleshooting skills with strong knowledge of IP networking architecture, protocols and security./liliHas excellent time management and consistently meets deadlines with focus and purpose./liliCandidates with technical certifications in the following areas or equivalent experience preferred (cloud computing, networking, storage technologies, cybersecurity, API/SDKs)./liliStrong knowledge or experience utilizing Motorola Solutions Video Security Access Control products is highly desirable./liliDemonstrated ability to self-manage working as an individual contributor or as part of a collaborative group./liliThe Sales Engineer - Focused Account Sales Team (FAST) shall have the responsibility to cover the following territory: North America./lili50%+ US with potential for limited international travel is to be expected./liliAbility to lift 50lbs./li/ulpTarget Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $148,400 USD/ppConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
