We're looking for a Training Specialist II to support our client by development and alignment of technical training programs across multiple generation technologies. Your primary focus will be supporting training for new and existing Simple Cycle and Combined Cycle plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to resource for Simple Cycle and Combined Cycle training programs.
• Develop and deliver training across disciplines: Operations, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Controls.
• Evaluate and enhance training courses to align with business practices and emerging technologies.
• Identify skill gaps and implement mitigation plans.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices.

• Required:
  • Bachelor's degree (or High School/GED with 9 years related experience)
  • 5+ years of Simple Cycle and Combined Cycle operations or maintenance experience in natural gas plant, nuclear, or coal.
• Preferred:
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of systematic training approaches and adult learning principles
  • Experience with GE or Siemens gas turbines
  • Familiarity with PLC controls, power distribution systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Hybrid role: remote and onsite work after onboarding period
• Must live within a reasonable commute of Charlotte, NC.
• Travel required for trainings (50%) with possible overnight stays
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
