Job Title: REMOTE Data Scientist III

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist III to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI models. This role involves significant collaboration across various departments to ensure ourAI solutions are effectively tailored to meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of knowledge in AI, deep learning, and data science.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI models tailored to business needs.

• Internalize and integrate external AI programs, ensuring compatibility with our systems.

• Utilize Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and other programming languages for developing and refining deep learning models.

• Research and implement Graphical Neural Network (GNNs) models and contribute to their adaptation for analyzing complex data.

• Implement and apply literature and data-driven network integration strategies to infer novel knowledge.

• Support troubleshooting, optimization, and potential updates of deployed AI solutions to improve performance.

Essential Skills

• Strong Python programming skills.

• Experience developing and applying AI/ML algorithms.

• Proficiency in large language models (LLMs) and graph modeling/graph-based machine learning.

• PhD in Computational Science, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (fresh graduates are welcome).

• Understanding of Graph Neural Networks and familiarity with transformers.

• Experience in deploying AI/ML solutions.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in cloud computing environments and deploying AI solutions.

• Exposure to other programming languages or AI frameworks, such as BERT and LLAMA.

• Experience applying state-of-the-art AI methodologies on biological systems, specifically on multi-omics data.

• Gene extraction or mutation analysis experience.

This is a remote position, allowing flexibility and the comfort of working from any location. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Remote, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
