The Office of the Governor, Division of Administrative Services, is seeking an Operations Manager to join our team in Juneau! What you will be doing: In this role, your primary responsibilities will be managing each of the services the Division of Administrative Services' provides. This position, along with the Administrative Services Director, is solely responsible for budgeting for the Office of the Governor and will have a strong focus on the procurement functions. This includes leading the development of contracts, overseeing solicitation processes, ensuring strict compliance with state purchasing regulations, and providing expert guidance to staff and leadership on procurement procedures. In addition to procurement management, this position oversees the division's day-to-day operations including the financial and human resource sections and serves as the primary budget analyst for the Office of the Governor. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in Alaska state government procurement and a solid understanding of other services delivered within the Division of Administrative Services.

The working environment you can expect:
Minimum Qualifications: Three years of professional experience in the broad occupational fields of the division or department, with a strong emphasis on procurement management, including activities such as contract development, solicitation, and compliance with state purchasing regulations. This experience should demonstrate a solid understanding of procurement processes within Alaska state government. Additionally, two years of supervisory and/or managerial experience are required, which may be concurrent with the professional experience.
