The University of Alaska Southeast (UAS) is recruiting for a Dual Enrollment Coordinator. This position coordinates university-wide dual enrollment programming and initiates and fosters relationships with high schools and other external stakeholders on dual enrollment issues. The Dual Enrollment Coordinator provides leadership, support, and coordination for dual enrollment programs, serving as a key liaison between the university and all stakeholders to facilitate access to college-level coursework for secondary students. This role supports UASs mission to expand educational pathways and workforce readiness across Southeast Alaska. It may involve travel within Alaska and integrates academic advising best practices to ensure students receive holistic guidance throughout their educational journey.
To thrive in this role, the successful candidate will be a collaborative leader who coordinates and supports UASs dual enrollment efforts across the state, acts as the institutional lead, builds infrastructure and documentation to ensure dual enrollment programming is sustainable and scalable, and advises university leadership on opportunities based on enrollment trends, cost-benefit analyses, and student matriculation potential. The coordinator evaluates tuition models, course formats, and delivery methods to expand access and improve efficiency for students and districts alike. The role also emphasizes communication and alignment, creating internal systems that connect UAS departments, instructors, and school district partners, and maintaining a centralized knowledge base with policies, procedures, deadlines, and training resources. Regular environmental scans of district needs and UAS capacity guide targeted partnership strategies and course offerings. The position emphasizes continuous improvement through data-driven analysis, with templates, workflows, and regular updates to promote transparency and accountability, ensuring dual enrollment practices are responsive, collaborative, and student-centered.

This position is located on the University of Alaska Southeast campus in Juneau. It is a full-time, exempt staff position with a competitive salary and full employee benefits. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 79, based on education and experience.
