The Division of Juvenile Justice is recruiting to fill a Transitional Juvenile Probation Officer 1/2 position located at the Johnson Youth Center in Juneau, AK. This position will be filled at either the 1 or 2 level depending on the applicants qualifications and job experience. What You Will Be Doing. As a juvenile probation officer (JPO) you will be working to positively influence, motivate, and steer young offenders toward community restoration and developing competencies to lead a productive and crime free life. JPOs are asked to set high expectations for themselves as well as the youth they work with.
