Developing and communicating new solution offerings for assigned products or services. Working with the sales and marketing organizations, as well as the technical delivery organization, to ensure service offer viability; interacting with customers and providing direct support to the sales organization to sell TriZetto products or services; eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the real needs of the project stakeholders, including customers and end users. Working closely with other business units to manage product roadmaps, requirements, release schedules, training and support. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the ability to define and drive innovative product strategies, particularly in the areas of automation and artificial intelligence. This includes identifying emerging technologies, assessing their applicability, and translating them into actionable product initiatives that solve real customer problems.

Job Title: Product Manager
Role: Individual Contributor External Facing Role
Essential Functions:
· Manage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, including ongoing assessments of the overall health of respective products.
· Collaborate with leadership to align product vision with overall business strategy and market trends.
· Define and evolve product roadmaps that incorporate emerging technologies and align with long-term strategic goals.
· Identify and evaluate opportunities to apply AI, machine learning, and automation to solve complex customer problems.
· Create business cases and financial models to support the development of the product or services.
· Champion a culture of innovation by continuously seeking out customer pain points and proposing creative, technology-enabled solutions.
· Establish customer persona and market profiles.
· Define market requirements for current and future products or services through competitive analysis and ongoing conversations with customers, partners, and prospects.
· Construct and maintain technology partnerships and contracts that support our current and future products.
· Define and input features into agile project management software and work closely with product owners to ensure new initiatives are properly scoped and developed.
· Oversee the commercialization process to ensure product launches are operationally ready, well-documented, and effectively supported.
· Provide tactical support to sales, marketing, and enablement efforts, including training, collateral development, and performance assessments.
· Act as a cross-functional bridge between technical, operational, and business teams to align priorities and execution.
· Leverage data analytics, usage metrics, and stakeholder feedback to inform product decisions and measure ongoing performance.
· Develop and track KPI's to ensure product success post-launch.
· Ensure that products meet regulatory, compliance, and security standards in the healthcare domain.
· Participate in user research and usability testing to gather voice-of-customer insights and translate them into actionable features.
· Deliver clear and compelling product presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications :
Education :
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Advertising or Statistics. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.
Required Experience:
Minimum of five years related experience working in the software/healthcare industry or in Product Management. Experience with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) systems, workflows, and terminology required. Demonstrated ability to translate strategic vision into innovative product roadmaps and lead cross-functional execution.
Behavioral Competencies:
Competencies: Strong presentation skills, ability to collaborate, Make data driven decisions, maintain positive attitude, multitask to handle numberous project simultaneously
Technical Competencies:
Highly preferred experience with Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) standards (e.g. 837, 277, 835) and experience working with AI/ML technologies, automation platforms, or data-driven decision systems. Understanding of API's, including working knowledge of REDIful API's and how they integrate into product workflows.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applicants will be accepted till 8/20/2025
The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $113,000K-$132,500K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
