Depending on the selected applicant, this position can be filled in Juneau, Fairbanks, or Anchorage. Salary information is listed below:
Juneau: $2,778.00 / Biweekly
Fairbanks: $2,725.50 / Biweekly
Anchorage: $2,646.00 /Biweekly
What You Will Be Doing
As the Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS) Analyst and Traffic Records Coordinator, youll work with transportation and public safety partners to collect and manage critical crash data that supports life-saving decisions. Youll promote efficient, high-quality data sharing across agencies and help shape safety strategies that make a real impact.
In This Role, Youll
- Collaborate with traffic and safety professionals across Alaska
- Collect and code crash data for national reporting requirements (FARS)
- Coordinate improvements in traffic records systems
- Prepare annual reports for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)
