Senior Product Owner - Product Management

As a Senior Product Owner, you will be at the forefront of our product vision, guiding an Agile delivery team by defining user stories and managing the product backlog effectively. This role deals with challenges of varying scope and complexity, focusing on maximizing the value delivered by our Agile team.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and the development team to ensure we build the right product, in the correct sequence, within budget and deadlines. As the primary point of contact for the Agile team, you'll facilitate information flow, prioritize work, and make key decisions to drive the project forward. Your insights will also be crucial for executives as we develop functional strategies that impact our operations significantly.

This role requires independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues related to various tasks.

Your Impactful Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner
  • 5+ years leading large-scale implementations using Agile and/or waterfall methodologies
  • Experience engaging with upper management for product prioritization
  • Ability to translate product features into user stories

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of technical experience with Enterprise-level CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365, etc.)
  • Experience with data analysis to support product decisions
  • Master's Degree

Additional Information:

This role operates on Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours. As part of our hiring process, you'll engage in a virtual pre-screen interview using HireVue, allowing us to assess your relevant skills and experience flexibly. If selected, you'll receive an email invitation for a recorded interview, expected to take about 15 to 30 minutes.

Work-At-Home Requirements:

  • A minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wired or DSL connections are preferred.
  • Associates in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive bi-weekly payments for internet expenses.
  • You will be provided with the necessary phone equipment to meet business needs.
  • Work in a dedicated, interruption-free space to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
  • If interacting with members in a language other than English, a language proficiency assessment will be required.

Travel: Though primarily a remote position, some travel to Humana offices for meetings or training may be necessary.

Weekly Hours: The position is full-time, with 40 scheduled hours per week.

Pay Range: The estimated pay for this position ranges from $115,200 to $158,400 annually, based on experience, skills, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on performance.
