Experience operating chainsaws, brush cutters and heavy machinery is a plus but not mandatory. If you are an enthusiastic, energetic individual who has strong interpersonal skills and enjoy being part of a team, we would be interested in hearing from you!WORKING HOURS AND LOCATIONThis position works four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm during the summer season at Eaglecrest Ski Area.The Eaglecrest Summer Trail Crew Worker is under the direct supervision of the Mountain Safety Manager.The incumbent is responsible for assisting the trail maintenance crew in conducting summer projects that include but are not limited to; ski, hike, and mountain bike trail maintenance and construction involving manual labor, operating power and hand tools, machinery and performing minor mechanical work on power tools and work-related equipment.The incumbent will be assisting Mountain Operations staff with lite construction on various Capital Improvement Projects at the direction of the Mountain Safety Manager.The incumbent must be able to work outside in varied terrain and weather conditions.
