We are looking for qualified individuals to fill our Eaglecrest Senior Cashier positions for the upcoming winter season.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for enthusiastic guest service-oriented people who are willing to work in an office environment all day. You should enjoy being around other skiers and snowboarders creating a friendly upbeat atmosphere at the front ticket window or kitchen cashier station. Ski or Snowboard Experience is a bonus.

Eaglecrest is a true Alaskan gem as the State's second largest ski area and one of very few municipally owned ski areas.
The Base Operations Team is a fun group that has an opportunity to experience many different parts of the mountain. Those that have ski and snowboard experience will be able to ski or snowboard during breaks throughout the day. You will receive discounts in the cafeteria, retail shop, rental shop, and on ski lessons.
WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION
You will be working in various location around the Eaglecrest Ski Area base area at 3000 Fish Creek Road Wednesday through Sunday 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Weekends and Holidays are mandatory. Overtime pay will be possible during holiday weeks.
Typical Responsibilities
Under general supervision of the Director of Base Operations, the incumbent provides high quality exceptional customer service while operating a point-of-sale systems, a cash register, counting money, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment., and providing exceptional customer service.
This position is also responsible for end of shift cash out procedures.
This position also stocks the season pass area and ticket booth with necessary supplies as well as assists in keeping the area clean and orderly. The Senior Cashier is responsible for the training of new cashiers and assisting the Revenue Coordinator and the Director of Base Operations, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
No education required
Experience:
Six (6) months clerical experience, which includes cash handling and customer service.
Substitution:
Post-secondary education in bookkeeping or accounting will substitute for the bookkeeping/account maintenance experience, on the basis of one semester hour of credit for one month of experience, up to three months of experience.
