Food Service Assistant I: This position functions at the beginner level of t he Food Service Assistant job class series. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining sanitation standards in assigned work areas; performing all functions related to customer meal delivery; performing customer meal preparation tasks. Food Service Assistant II: This position functions at the advanced level of the Food Service Assistant job class series. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining sanitation standards in assigned work areas; performing all functions related to customer meal delivery; performing customer meal preparation tasks. Incumbents assist in orienting new staff to their assigned stations and assisting with the coordination of duties during assigned shifts.
