OF POSITION: Directs, coordinates, and supervises all yard crews, switch engines, and train movements within and through the Fairbanks Terminal. Runs daily operations at the Fairbanks Terminal and provides leadership and organization in all Fairbanks Terminal activities. Ensures that train and engine personnel operate in a safe, professional and efficient manner. Supports and directly executes the train operation plans. Duties and Responsibilities:Supervises, coordinates and directs daily train operating plans and directives within the Fairbanks Terminal. Ensures that customer commitments are met and all industry switches are made on the designated schedule. Works with other operating personnel and crafts to understand customer expectations, the complexity and requirements/limitations of other departments, and coordinates efforts to meet ARRC goals.
