Civil Engineer-Transportation (Juneau, AK)

PND Engineers, Inc. invites you to join our dynamic team in Juneau, Alaska, in a multifaceted position that will challenge and inspire you. Working on a wide variety of civil engineering design and construction projects, both public and private, you will have the opportunity to refine your skills and contribute to impactful projects while immersing yourself in the beauty of Alaska's landscapes.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited school.
2. Alaska P.E. registration or ability to become registered in Alaska within 12 months of hire.
3. Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience. Focus in transportation and highway design preferred.
4. Ability to work seamlessly in a teamwork setting and to mentor junior engineers.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
6. Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D, as well as other engineering software applications.
7. Excellent time management skills, and ability to produce accurate, efficient work within budget and time constraints.
8. Strong written and oral communication skills.
9. Ability to travel for inspection or site assessments. Some overnight or multi-day trips may be required. Travel requirement is <10%.
10. Valid U.S. drivers license and good driving record required.

Our Juneau office is conveniently located near the airport, housing, and recreational opportunities. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to visit Juneau before accepting an offer. Relocation assistance and 36 months housing assistance are available.
