Job Details

Under general supervision, this position serves as the primary and sole administrative support to providers, management/administration, and staff within the Emergency Department. The incumbent supports and works directly with physicians, mid-levels, nursing staff, patients, and other departments to coordinate and develop systems and processes that facilitate delivery of care within the Emergency Department. This includes:Working directly with providers and department leadership to develop and implement efficient patient care processes, ensuring appropriate integration with community care partners, and develop systems that promote reliable, high quality, care delivery. Working with physicians and clinical teams to modify ED electronic health record, T-System, to develop appropriate tools for clinical documentation, streamline operations, and aggregate data for quality improvement processes.
