Job Description

Busser: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: greeting and interacting with guests, setting tables, clearing and resetting tables, carrying food, folding napkins, refilling waters, assisting wait staff, and cleaning and organizing the restaurant throughout and at the end of shift. Additional duties may include sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and cleaning other areas of the restaurant and bathroom.

Front Desk Agent/Breakfast Attendant: Front desk duties include but are not limited to: greeting and assisting customers, handling reservations, checking customers in and out of the motel, processing payments, answering guest questions, answering phones, and maintaining cleanliness of the hotel lobby.

Breakfast attendant duties include but are not limited to: preparing hot and cold breakfast foods and drinks, maintaining the buffet area, and ensuring the general area is clean.

Housekeeping/Breakfast Attendant: Participants may be assigned to either a Housekeeping position or a Breakfast Attendant position based on business need and English level. Participants must be willing to work in either position.

Housekeeping duties include but are not limited to: making beds, removing guest linens, vacuuming, cleaning floors, and cleaning guest bathrooms, including showers, sinks, floors, and toilets. Some cleaning of common areas and laundry duties will be required as well.

Server: Servers ensure that patrons have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: greeting patrons and answering questions regarding the menu, working closely with other wait staff and the kitchen to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently, offering suggestions and recommendations to guests, and processing payments.

Housing

Participant will share an onsite hotel room with up to 3 other participants. There will be two sets of bunk beds in each room. Each room will have a full bathroom, a mini-fridge, and a microwave. All rent will be refunded if participants stay until the end of their program and leave housing in good, clean condition.
