Job Title: Accounts Payable

Location: Anchorage, AK

Reports to: Controller

Salary Range: $27 - $30 DOE

Schedule: 40 – Hours Per Week

What You Will Do:

This position requires a very unique and broad range of skills and abilities. You will spend your first 6 months on a probationary status while you learn day-to-day operations of both, our business and the position. Your responsibilities will include:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Working directly with purchasing department for accounting discrepancies, purchases, etc.
2. Processing invoices from vendors, project managers and others.
3. Electronic record keeping.
4. Manage employee database and assist in modifications of deposits.
5. Interact in a team environment in a fast-paced office setting in a friendly, welcoming manner.
6. Additional payroll or office supporting duties as deemed necessary.

What you will need to have:

1. Previous demonstrated experience working with electronic banking transactions (transfers, wires, payments, ACH's, etc.).
2. A background in working primarily with 1099 employees, second tier sub-contractors and processing those invoices.
3. Work with credit cards, expense reports and payments to vendors.
4. The ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner.
5. Must be proficient in various software applications including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
