You:
You are a senior program director & accomplished leader in the outdoor adventure travel industry.
You have a proven, solid reputation for completely running the daily operations of a high-end adventure travel organization.
You have proven success in creating, maintaining & upholding policies & procedures.
You get things done & hit due dates like clockwork & verify that your staff are on-top of workload.
You're extremely detail oriented, organized, and great at juggling deadlines, schedules, people & resources. You are tech savvy with the latest software & have experience juggling a variety of SAAS software platforms.
You are a leader & well practiced at delegating, holding people accountable & you can easily juggle the day-to-day logistics of a complex, tech heavy, remote operation. You are a master of putting out fires & keeping the trains running on time.

The Job:
This position is responsible for overseeing the core functions & daily operations of Backcountry Journeys. The Director of Operations is in charge of managing the majority of staff team.
The core function of this position is managing & leading your team – ensuring quality control and that due dates are not missed.
You are directly responsible for the operational success of Backcountry Journeys.
You will work directly with and report to the Chief Operating Officer (currently the founder of the company).
Having prior experience working for a company running on EOS is HUGE for this role.
A large part of this role is facilitating & developing the core functions of the business – including removing barriers to success, internal process creation & management as well as daily operations & customer success.
