Role and Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Building Maintenance Supervisor on various projects.

Specific duties include:

* Assist with general maintenance, construction, plumbing, and various building maintenance projects.

* Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

* Must be prepared to work long hours standing in often cold, wet, and icy surfaces.

* Must be able to climb up and down ladders and stairs, and stand/walk on uneven and slippery surfaces.

* Large amount and ranges of hand and arm movements.

* Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

* Must be self starter, detail oriented, and able to work independently.

* Knowledge of creating and maintaining a safe work environment.

* Ability to identify, correct and report Safety Hazards.

* Pleasant and professional manner in dealing with co-workers, supervisors, employees, outside agencies, and vendors.

* Prompt arrival and attendance.

* Ability to communicate in the English language, comprehending, speaking, reading and writing in English.

* Ability to function as part of the team, with co-workers, supervisor, and other departments.
